The Global Psychological eHealth Foundation ("we" or "us" or "our") operates the ResilienceNHope  application and websites https://www.resiliencenhope.org/ and https://www.resiliencenhope.org/ (the "website" or "web-based application" or "application") and provides Text4Hope, Text4Support, Text4Mood, MoreGoodDays, Wellness4MDs, Wellness4Students, Text4PTSI, Text4Wellness,  Wellness4Teachers and related programs ("supportive text and email messaging programs" or "text and email messaging services") to subscribers ("you" or "your" or "their").

We are committed to providing you with supportive text and email messages with or without embedded weblinks for mental health literacy resources to promote your mental well-being.  Entrusting us with your personal data is a serious responsibility, and we want you to know that we take your privacy seriously and protect the information we collect. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our program.

Collection of Information

We collect your mobile phone number or email address when you self-subscribe to our program. We do not collect any other personally identifying information such as your name, date of birth, residential address or personal health card number from you. We use your phone number or email address to send you supportive text or email messages. For the text messaging programs, we send the application through links to online assessment surveys that aim to evaluate the impact of the program on subscribers' mental health and their satisfaction with the program. These surveys are powered by REDCap, a secure, web-based application or other secure online data-capture application that enables ResilienceNHope-affiliated investigators to collect and track information from subscribers following a separate consent process. Information collected through REDCap is kept on its server, which is located in Canada or other jurisdictions. For the email messaging program, the assessment surveys are powered by the ResilienceNHope application, and the information gathered is stored securely on a server located in Canada.

Use of Information

We use your phone number or email address to send you supportive and informative messages. We do not use your phone number or email address for any other purpose. We do not share your phone number or email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

Disclosure of Information

We disclose your phone number and/or email address to our service providers (Google, Twilio and your cellular phone network provider) who assist us in providing the program. We do not disclose your phone number and/or email address to any other third parties. Our service providers are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your phone number.

Protection of Information

We take reasonable measures to protect your phone number and/or email address from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. We store your phone number on secure servers located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, but we also use regions in the United States. This is standard practice across Google Cloud and Twilio, which are detailed in their privacy policies, available at https://cloud.google.com/terms/data-processing-addendum and https://www.twilio.com/en-us/legal/privacy.

Data Retention

We retain your phone number and/or email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our program. If you unsubscribe from our program, your phone number and/or email address will remain in our database, but no more messages will be delivered to your cell phone of email account. You can re-subscribe to receive messages or request for your phone number and/or email address to be deleted from the system.

Your Rights

You have the right to unsubscribe from our program at any time. You can unsubscribe by replying "STOP" to any text message we send you.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by sending you a text message.
