The Global Psychological eHealth Foundation ("we", "us", or "our") operates the ResilienceNHope mobile applications and websites, including https://www.resiliencenhope.org/ (the "website", "web-based application", or "application"). Through these platforms we deliver a range of digital mental health services including Text4Hope, Text4Support, Text4Mood, MoreGoodDays, Wellness4MDs, Wellness4Students, Text4PTSI, Text4Wellness, Wellness4Teachers, and related programs (collectively referred to as “digital mental health programs”, “supportive messaging programs”, or “services”) to subscribers ("you", "your", or "users"). Our programs may deliver supportive cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)–based mental health messages and resources through mobile applications, text messaging (SMS), email, WhatsApp messaging, or other digital communication platforms to support mental wellbeing and mental health literacy. Entrusting us with your personal information is a serious responsibility. We are committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding the information we collect. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you access or use our services.
Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on the type of service you use.
Mobile Applications
For programs delivered through a mobile application (such as Wellness4Students), users create an account using their email address, which is used solely for secure login and authentication.
We do not collect other personally identifiable information such as your name, date of birth, residential address, or personal health card number. The application includes in-app surveys designed to assess users’ wellbeing and program experience. These surveys may be mandatory depending on the program design. Survey responses are not linked to your email address but are associated with a system-generated in-app user ID to protect user privacy. Survey data are analyzed only in aggregated form for program evaluation, research, and service improvement. The application may also collect limited technical information (such as device type, operating system, or application usage data) to support the proper functioning, performance, and security of the platform.
Text Messaging, Email, and WhatsApp Programs
For programs delivered through SMS text messaging, email, or WhatsApp, we collect your mobile phone number and/or email address when you voluntarily subscribe to the program. We use your phone number or email address solely to deliver supportive messages and program-related communications. For these programs, users may receive links to either mandatory or optional program evaluation surveys assessing mental wellbeing and user satisfaction. These surveys are typically hosted securely on the ResilienceNHope platform or on secure research data platforms such as REDCap or other secure online data capture systems used by ResilienceNHope-affiliated investigators. Survey participation may be a pre-condition for program enrolment or may involve a separate consent process, depending on the program and research requirements.
